Amphenol Charles Industries Announces a New Z01 Series Low Profile Broadband Pedestal Housing

Schaumburg, IL (Feb 20, 2024) – Amphenol Charles Industries announces the availability of its Z01 series pedestals. These new pedestals have a low-profile dome of only 15” with an approximately 9”x9” visible profile. These are one of the least obtrusive pedestals in the market. Their small size aids in obtaining local usage approvals as well as providing a lower installation cost. The Z01 are an ideal solution for FTTH network where only a small number of drops are needed.

The units are made of an impact resistant UV stabilized HDPE material for robustness and long life. They are available with a selection of different bracketry and mounting options for various equipment needs. These pedestals can be used for taps, terminals, bonding points, or cable storage. There is also an option available to ship from the factory with a Charles Industries miniature fiber sealed drop closure terminal installed.
