Z08 Series Active Device Low Profile Pedestals
The next generation of DOCSIS amplifier and other active devices are placing increasing thermal and space demands on the outside plant. Amphenol Charles Industries (ACI) has engineered a next generation amplifier pedestal that has been thermally optimized and can passively dissipate over 100W in a small 30” x 20” footprint. With constraints from municipalities and homeowners on the size and obtrusiveness of installed pedestals, the new Z08 can help providers expediate new deployments.
Z01 Vertical Broadband Pedestal
Amphenol Charles Industries’ Z01 vertical broadband pedestal provides mounting facilities and security for fiber terminals and passive RF components for Fiber-to-the-Home or coaxial-based access networks. The Z01 series have a small 9”x9” footprint with a low profile 15” dome which improves aesthetics and aids with approvals by local jurisdictions.
Series 3 Fiber Pedestals
Series 3 pedestal housing is designed and developed for Charles’ most popular 8” and 10” Fiber Pedestals. These pedestals are available with BDO and CFDP backboards. The pedestal housings provide the necessary environmental protection with a similar size and profile as our current pedestals. Series 3 offers the same access and interface for technicians familiar with Charles Pedestals.
Fiber Optic Dome Closures (FODC)
Charles Fiber Optic Dome Closures (FODC) offer splicing and protection of outdoor fiber connections in a familiar dome form factor. FODC units can be deployed to support a variety of topologies including strand or pole mountings, as well as below grade vault placements.
Fiber Sealed Drop Closures (FSDC)
Charles Fiber Sealed Drop Closures provide a versatile, functional and cost-effective solution for FTTH network connections to up to 48 subscribers. FSDC series closures are fully-sealed units which can be strand, pole or pedestal mounted; or placed in below ground vaults and enclosures.
Charles SHRD1 Pole Top Concealment Shrouds
Protective shroud enclosures that support and conceal Small Cell remote radio heads (RRH) and other radio equipment. Weather-resistant design is suited to outdoor pole top applications. The central mast has mounting brackets for three Small Cell RRH units, a diplexer, and a top mounting plate for a canister style antenna.
