Compact Remote Terminal Solutions for Fiber and Copper Electronics

Charles Universal Broadband Enclosures (CUBE) bring a new level of compactness to full-featured Fiber Optic and Copper Remote Terminals. Their small size and light weight allow technicians to install these terminals in virtually any location quickly and easily.  They are ideal for placements at cell towers, business parks and MDU for backhaul applications.  

Designed to house a variety of communications equipment, CUBE are pre-wired to meet your power, protection and physical interface requirements. Many customizable sizes and features provide the flexibility to meet your every backhaul application.
All CUBE Cabinets are designed to meet GR-487 and NEMA 3R or 4X standards.

Charles CUBE VM Series CabinetsVM Series (Vertical Mount Cabinets)

CUBE VM Series Cabinets are designed for mounting electronics, splice trays and other communications equipment directly to the backplane of the enclosure. Technicians have easy access to internal equipment and ample room for fiber or copper cable management. A swing out door option allows multiplexers and other rack equipment to be secured to the cabinet’s door for even greater access to both front and rear connections. Heat exchangers are available on all models.

Charles CUBE RM Series CabinetsRM and RL Series (Rack Mount Cabinets)

CUBE RM and RL Series Cabinets are designed for traditional 19" or 23" rackmount equipment. Flexible designs can be configured to support virtually all telecommunications, utility, CATV, or wireless applications. Compartmentalized designs provide for restricted access to equipment only by authorized personnel. RM Series Cabinets feature a single equipment chamber, while RL Series Cabinets feature separate locking chambers for division of provider and customer equipment access. RL Series Cabinets are certified to Telcordia GR-487 specifications for electronic equipment cabinets.

Charles CUBE RL Series CabinetsAll CUBE Cabinets are designed to meet NEMA 3R or 4X standards, depending on configuration. Charles can perform in-house thermal testing on specific customer configurations and provide test results validating the design of the cabinet selected for deployment.

Charles CUBE PM Series CabinetsPM Series (Pad Mount Cabinets)

The CUBE PM Series offers pad mountable cabinet options for high density installations. CUBE PM include bolt-mounted bases and lifting ears for placement performed by crane or other lifting equipment. CUBE PM cabinets offer ample room for up to 16 rack units of electronics in the main chamber, with an additional customer chamber option available for added capacity separated for restricted access.

CUBE PM Series offer the same outstanding environmental protection standards and durable aluminum construction as other CUBE cabinets. PM Series Cabinets are certified to Telcordia GR-487 specifications for electronic equipment cabinets. AC and DC powering options are available, with an isolated battery chamber available for AC configurations.
